When a builder designs a new website with our team, we’re commonly asked for our recommendations on how to make it the best it can be. And our answer is, to every builder, designs are best created through a process of deep collaboration — one that allows us to learn about a builder’s values, goals, and business. It is only with this understanding that a “great” website design can be achieved.
To be more specific, the best website for a builder is one that represents the builder accurately, meets the needs of their target home shoppers, and supports the business goals of the organization. Sure, many home builders have some similar answers among these categories, but almost never is one builder “just like” another.
In this series, we’re going to examine the components we believe make for the best home builder websites and include some considerations that help you identify which solution may be more or less valuable for your website. This series will be published over a couple of months. Subscribing here will ensure you hear about the upcoming chapters when they become available.
