What is a SERP?

An SERP is an acronym for Search Engine Results Page. SERP is the term used to describe the page of results a user sees after typing theor search into a search engine like Google or Bing. SERP refers to the entire page, including organic search results and paid search results, among other ads.

Who cares?

This is hopefully the last thing a prospect sees before visiting your website. Optimizing your website to show well on these pages is key to bringing new prospects to your website. The process of improving your position/ranking and appearance on SERP pages is referred to as search engine optimization (SEO).
