TilsonHomes.com wins Gold at The Nationals!

It’s an incredible honor to share the news that our work on the new TilsonHomes.com has been recognized by NAHB’s The Nationals as the Best Website for a Builder Gold Award winner!

The Challenge

The average consumer has a hard time understanding the “on your lot” builder online. Naturally, website content is primarily floor plans, and pricing is difficult because of unknown land costs. Tilson Homes wanted to build a better experience for the consumer, and reduce the volume of unqualified requests fielded by their online sales counselors.

The Answer

The new TilsonHomes.com provides consumers with a content-rich experience that has proven effective in every way we had hoped for. Of course, the website provides details on all of the 50+ floor plans offered, but because the site includes content about the 150+ Texas counties where Tilson builds, consumers are shown the cost for each home in each county. TilsonHomes.com communicates over 8,000 unique plan/county prices to help home shoppers, and the Tilson team manages it all with a simple import file.

The Results

The analytics include astonishing performance details. In the first nine months of the new TilsonHomes.com:

  • Session volume increased 48% year-over-year
  • Average session duration increased 15% year-over-year
  • Bounce rate decreased 15% year-over-year
  • Google organic traffic increased 75% year-over-year
