Megan English promoted to Vice President

Many of you know Megan English well. Those that work alongside her watch as she accepts an astounding amount of responsibility with an equally astounding presence of mind. I especially appreciate the heavy splash of snark thrown in for good fun. 😉

I am excited and honored that Megan has accepted the role of Vice President of ONeil Interactive.

Megan’s influence can be found throughout the ONeil Interactive culture, client relationships, work output, and company vision. Having long been the acting second-in-command, this promotion seeks to recognize a role that Megan is already fulfilling.

After more than five years working as a rep for The New Home Guide (known as The New Home Directory in the Baltimore market), Megan joined ONeil Interactive in 2010. This time is deep into what we affectionately refer to as ONeil Interactive’s “basement years.” At this point in the company’s history, up to five of us worked together in the basement of my home and ate lunch together at my kitchen table.

Megan’s first title at ONeil Interactive was Account Manager but the responsibilities included basically everything that needed doing. When Megan took on the responsibilities as out Director of Strategic Services in 2015, it marked the beginning of a new phase for ONeil Interactive. Since then, Megan has restructured our entire marketing operation, hired great people, prioritized client happiness, and performed countless other mission critical duties.

The industry has noticed. Megan has been selected as a speaker at the last three International Builder Shows and was recognized in this year’s Pro Builder Forty Under 40.

Megan coined one of my favorite descriptions of the ONeil Interactive company culture.

“High performance. Low ego.”

I’m proud to work alongside a leader who lives those words. Please join me in congratulating Megan! Cheers! 🥂
