We’re excited to welcome our new Social Media & Content Manager, Julie Rogers! Julie comes to us with a passion for content and the branding experience to back it up. One of our favorite parts of welcoming someone to the ONeil Interactive team is getting to ask them get-to-know you questions that would never normally come up in conversation at the espresso machine. Here are a few fun facts about Julie.
Describe what you do at ONeil Interactive in one or two sentences.
I develop creative online strategies for clients’ social media pages and blogs. For each client, I post engaging content that increases brand recognition and builds an online community.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be an improvisational comedian! I loved watching “Whose Line is it Anyway?” You can still catch me quoting Ryan and Collin sketches to this day.
What was your first job?
I helped my mom serve lunch at a French restaurant when I was younger. I didn’t get paid with money, but I did get paid in chocolate croissants. Who doesn’t want to get paid in buttery, chocolatey goodness??
What’s your favorite thing(s) to do on your day off?
It’s definitely hard to stay inside on the weekends. I like to walk in old historical towns and visit the local shops. I’m a big fan of the #shoplocal and #eatlocal mindset- it builds and strengthens a community!
Share one fun fact about yourself that might surprise us.
I was a part of a polka dance team for 10 years. It was a big part of my upbringing and I still find opportunities to polka today!
What’s your spirit animal and why?
I’m definitely like a goat. I make weird faces, scream in the goofiest ways, and get scared really easy.
What one thing you’ve learned about home builder marketing since you joined the ONeil Interactive team?
There’s never a dull moment! At any given point there are open houses to visit, people to meet, and a community to build.
