Christa Colavincenzo joined the team this week as our new Homefiniti Account Manager! With a background in homebuilding and marketing, Christa is the perfect partner to collaborate with our High Performance builders to help them get the most out of their websites. Tell us what you do at ONeil Interactive?
As a Homefiniti Account Manager, I act as the main point of contact for builders, dedicated to helping them leverage Homefiniti’s features to improve their websites and reach their specific goals.
What did you do prior to coming to work with us?
I was a Web Content Coordinator at M/I Homes immediately after graduating college where I actually had the opportunity to work with some of the ONeil team! After three amazing years at M/I Homes, I was seeking a broader understanding of digital marketing, so I then transitioned to Nationwide as a Marketing Management Consultant, specializing in email marketing. Now, with a more holistic perspective on the digital landscape, I am so excited to be back in the home building industry, where my passion lies in website management.
Where have you lived? Where do you live?
I am originally from Pittsburgh, PA and grew up in the South Hills. I then attended Ohio University in Athens, OH and moved to Columbus, OH following graduation. After three years in Columbus, I was looking for an adventure, so I decided to move out to Phoenix, AZ (yes, it’s a dry heat!). After a few years of mountains and dirt, my fiance’s work took us to Charleston, SC where I traded that in for the beach and humid summers. We currently live here now in Mount Pleasant!
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
I love to travel, so I’m always open to recommendations! I recently heard that Majorca, Spain is beautiful, but other places on my list are Croatia and Sardinia, Italy!
Tell us about your pets, family, etc.
Having a love for travel has its pros and cons. Unfortunately, one of its cons is that I can’t take care of a pet right now. One day, I want a golden retriever and a cat when I have more time at home–I love all animals! For now, my fiance and I love the beach life in Charleston and try to travel to new places as much as we can.
What’s something fun about you? Your interests, etc.
Something fun about me is that I studied abroad in Greece when I was a junior in college. I think this is when my travel obsession started. We studied in Thessaloniki, then made our way to Athens, Ios, and Stanorini.
What’s something that has really surprised you about the homebuilding industry?
How face-paced it is! I don’t think I realized how face-paced this industry was until I left and actually missed it. The individuals in this industry are so hardworking, it makes the small wins even more rewarding!
What are you most excited about doing at ONeil?
I’m really excited to assist builders in optimizing their websites and create strong relationships with them. Working at ONeil truly is a full-circle moment, allowing me to support builders with an understanding gained from previously being in their position. I remember Dennis and Jenna as friendly and insightful contacts that I enjoyed meeting with, and my goal is to hopefully be that person for others now!
