Meet Emily Bandurski

This week we welcomed Emily Bandurski to the ONeil team! We couldn’t be more excited to grow our marketing team. Having worked for builders in marketing roles, Emily is knowledgeable about digital marketing tactics and strategies AND the Homefiniti platform šŸ™Œ.

We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into when we asked her about her pets! She pretty much has another full-time job looking after all those wonderful furry friends! We can’t wait to see pics of the alpaca!

1. Tell us what you do at ONeil Interactive?

As Builder Marketing Manager at ONeil Interactive, my role is to develop and implement effective digital marketing strategies that meet the business goals of our builder clients. I work closely with our internal teams, as well as external vendors, to ensure that all aspects of our marketing campaigns are executed to the highest standards.

In addition to overseeing the execution of digital marketing campaigns, I will also work closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and develop customized marketing plans that meet their specific objectives. Overall, my goal is to help our clients achieve success through effective digital marketing and drive business growth for both ONeil Interactive and our clients.

2. What did you do prior to coming to work with us?

Prior to starting at ONeil I was working at Truland Homes as their Digital Marketing Manager, where I was able to strengthen my technical skills and hands-on experience with all things digital – from running campaigns, creating reports, designing graphics, to taking photos, planning events, and editing. It was a great gig that taught me a lot!

3. Where have you lived? Where do you live now?

Other than a brief period of time living in Slidell, LA when I was younger, Iā€™ve always called Pensacola, Florida my home. Itā€™s a welcoming beach town nestled along the Emerald Coast that my family has resided in for a long time. I absolutely love it here!Ā

4. If you could travel anywhere where would you go?

I’m a huge fan of traveling! When I was on my honeymoon, I visited Ireland and completely fell in love with the place – I’d go back there in a heartbeat! There are a few other places on my bucket list too, like Italy, Switzerland, and Australia – I’d love to check them out someday.

5. Tell us about your pets.

Where do I startā€¦ I ā¤ļø animals. I currently have 4 dogs, 2 cats, 6 goats, and 7 chickens (and I might be getting 2 mini donkeys and an alpaca soon)! Hereā€™s a little breakdown of everyone šŸ™‚

Della is my oldest pet. She’s 11.Ā My boyfriend (now husband) got her for me for Christmas from our local animal shelter when we were in high school (my mom was not happy)Ā  and she has been my little shadow ever since. Sheā€™s a border collie/pomeranian mix and is the sweetest little fluff ball. Sheā€™s been by my side through highs and lows and she is everything to me!Ā

Annie just turned 10 this year and is a true mutt!Ā We did a DNA test on her and sheā€™s literally 22 different dog breeds mixed into one. We got her from a shelter when she was about two years old after animal control found her wandering alone on an empty road. She loves everyone! I tell people all the time that if someone broke into our house sheā€™d happily jump in the car and go for a ride with them after they robbed us.Ā

Daisy is 4 years old and is a beagle/dachshund mix.Ā  She was found in a paper bag on the side of the road when she was a puppy. We adopted her from a rescue shortly after that. She is a silly little pup whose tongue doesn’t fit in her mouth, so she constantly looks a little ā€œderp-yā€. She gives the best cuddles and is the first to befriend any foster dogs I take in. Sheā€™s the best.

Juneau is a 2 year old husky/german shepherd mix. Sheā€™s our youngest and definitely the most high energy of the bunch. We actually found her when she was lost as a puppy and returned her to her owner, and then after 8 months or so had passed, we happened to find her again last May and the owners didnā€™t want her back – so we assumed it was fate and kept her! Sheā€™s absolutely gorgeous and has pretty light blue eyes. Sheā€™s as sweet as can be and loves everyone she meets.

Professor McGonagall (yes, from Harry Potter) is our 7-year old cat. We adopted her from our local shelter as a kitten. Sheā€™s beautiful, but aloof, she really only likes me and could care less about anyone else.Ā

Lola is 5 and is a vocal and spunky kitty. She loves to eat, cuddle, and lay on top of you whenever possible. We had a family friend find a litter of kittens and adopted her from them.

Last but not least are the goats šŸ, 5 of them are fainting goats and one is a Nigerian dwarf goat! We got them in 2021 as adorable helpers to keep a couple acres of our yard well-maintained. Their names are Frick (light brown), Applesauce (dark brown with black head), Frack (black), Squash (white with brown head), Squish (white with black eyes), and Buddy Boy (light brown with white).Ā

We have chickens šŸ„Ā too – but I donā€™t have photos of all of them.

6. Other than your zooĀ šŸ˜…Ā tell usĀ something about yourself?

I would describe myself as a versatile person with a lot of interests! I have a lot of hobbies and passions that keep me busy, like pottery, home renovation, riding motorcycles with my husband, fostering animals, graphic design, swimming, boating, and so much more!Ā

7. Whatā€™s something that has really surprised you in the homebuilding industry?

How large and welcoming the homebuilding community is (especially in regards to marketing!) Itā€™s so much more than just building and selling houses, there is an entire network of people that are very passionate about finding new and innovative ways to market new home construction and that passion is so contagious!

8. What are you most excited about doing at ONeil?

As Builder Marketing Manager, I have the opportunity to work with a talented team and help home builders connect with their target audience in innovative ways. Iā€™m excited to be able to use my combination of creativity, strategic thinking, and technical skills, to grow both personally and professionally!
