Meet Katherine Seibt

Katherine Seibt – Web Project Manager

This week we welcomed Katherine Seibt to the ONeil Interactive team as our Web Project Manager! Having gone through a new Homefiniti website build from the builder side a few years ago, Katherine is uniquely qualified to lead builders through all of the challenges and triumphs of launching a new website. If you’re in the middle of designing and building your new Homefiniti website, or are about to get started, you’ll meet Katherine soon! Get to know her a little bit better below.

Tell us what you do at ONeil Interactive?
I am a new Web Project Manager.

What did you do prior to coming to work with us?
Before coming to ONeil, I worked at 68 Ventures, a land development and private equity firm. 68 Ventures was the parent company of Truland Homes where I was the Marketing Director before we were acquired by D.R. Horton. I spent about 7 months at D.R. Horton helping to transition Truland over before going back to 68 Ventures.

Where have you lived? Where do you live?
I live in Fairhope, AL. But I also spent a few years in Virginia Beach, VA in my late 20’s and loved it, but missed home. Fairhope is simply the best place to live!

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
If money was no object I would travel all over Europe and see everything historical and meaningful to my family. I also want to visit all 50 states and I have less than half to go. I’m looking forward to checking Maryland off soon!

Tell us about your pets, family, etc. (if applicable).
I have two dogs and a cat. Pippa is my little mutt I adopted during quarantine, she’s 5. Biscuit is my little corgi pup and she turns 3 in June. I also have a 12 year old solid black cat named Hermione. Pippa, Biscuit, and Hermione will be getting a little sister this fall….I’m pregnant with a little girl. Kate is due on 10/24.

What’s something fun about you? Your interests, etc.
Fun fact, Emily Bandurski and I worked together at Truland for a few years! Otherwise, I won’t lie, I’m not that exciting haha! I enjoy spending time with my family, my friends, shopping, eating out, cooking, etc…I’m pretty basic.

What’s something that has really surprised you about the homebuilding industry?
I think I was really surprised about how respected Marketing is in the industry. I’ve worked in many industries, from trade organizations and non-profits to construction and land development and so far no industry emphasizes and values marketing the way the homebuilding industry does. It’s the main reason I really wanted to stay in the industry and why I’m excited to join the ONeil team (besides 100 other reasons), our work is valued by so many people outside of just our bosses/clients.

What are you most excited about doing at ONeil?
I’m most excited about giving people the experience I had with ONeil when I was working at Truland Homes. I had such a fantastic experience during what was a really challenging time within our dept and in general as with any major website build, but the ONeil team was great and got 90% of the work done for a custom website in just 3 months with zero issues when we went live. I hope I can give other marketers the same experience and suggest ways for them to Q and A like we did to make their launch seamless!
