Please join us in welcoming Nathan to our team at ONeil! Nathan works on the web development side as a Front-end Developer/Designer. In order to get to know Nathan a little more we asked him to complete a quick friendly questionnaire.
Describe what you do at ONeil Interactive in one or two sentences.
I design and develop emails and websites for our clients.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
A novelist, a game designer, a filmmaker…. I wanted to do something where I had creative control and I could put new ideas out into the world. I guess I’m still working that out.
What was your first job?
I was a ride operator at a chintzy little theme park for one summer. I had to wear a baby blue polo shirt and khaki shorts, and I hated it.
What’s your favorite thing(s) to do on your day off?
Record music, play video games, walk over to my friends’ house for a cookout
Share one fun fact about yourself that might surprise us.
I played alto saxophone in the high school marching band, and I was in all the spring musicals, too.
What one thing you’ve learned about home builder marketing since you joined the ONeil Interactive team?
While houses sell themselves to a certain extent, I think there’s a lot that good design can do to make builders’ sites more appealing. Not only is a pretty site easy on the eyes, when a site is easy to use and understand, there’s no friction between future homeowners and the search for the perfect home.
