It’s true, the team at ONeil Interactive sometimes gets a little too excited and eager to implement a new technology. Shiny new tech is rarely ready for prime-time use. Sometimes we watch and wait for the right time, but when Google announced it was participating in the Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) standard a couple years ago, we couldn’t resist finding a way to start working with it sooner.
NewHomes.net features new home listings across the United States and every page is an accelerated mobile page. It is blazing fast and completely free for home builders. No joke. And yes, the leads go directly to the builders, too. It’s designed to be “Craiglist-simple” to navigate with one click access to results for states and cities like new homes in Maryland or new homes in Durham, NC.
We started NewHomes.net to see what we could learn about using AMP for builders (spoiler alert — It’s a big opportunity). We’re still learning, and frankly we like to see it grow. When builders add their listings to the site, they get introduced to AMP and the kind of creative marketing technology the team at ONeil Interactive is known for.
