Few things give us more satisfaction than to roll out bunches of new updates to our platforms. Making the web better for builders is a passion for us. It’s our pleasure to share some of the amazing updates we just pushed live for all of our Builder WebPress subscribers, and a few we rolled out in the last month or so but hadn’t announced yet.
Big Search Engine Optimization Updates
We spent a LOT of effort on this most recent update improving on the already stellar search engine optimization of Builder WebPress sites. We’ve now baked in your keywords and phrases into more important place like the URLs, reorganized the page titles, and even added more SEO impact to your spec listings. Google is constantly changing how they value a website and we’re keeping up with those changes to deliver the best possible results for our builders.
Bug Fixes
A bit less exciting, but we’ve corrected a bug that would occasionally show a link to a Location that had been deleted.
Google Maps
All Builder WebPress sites are now showing the full address of Locations and Specs instead of just the city and state.
Lead Generation
All Builder WebPress sites can now make use of the new “Mini-Contact Form” widget. This widget will add a short, simple, and user friendly contact form on any page of your site. Builder WebPress will take care of sending the lead to the right contact based on the assigned Location or Spec salesperson. It couldn’t be any easier for website visitors to convert to a lead.
Easier Spec Maintenance
Now, when you add Specs to the Builder WebPress backend, the parent floor plan’s values will be automatically used unless you choose to override them. For example, if you added a new Spec and associated it with The Washington floor plan, the Bedroom, Bathrooms, Square Footage, Garages, and First Floor Master values of The Washington would be associated with the new Spec by default, and can be overridden on an as needed basis. This makes adding inventory even faster than it already was!
What’s Next?
We’re hard at work on our next set of feature launches. Do you have some ideas for us to work on? We love feedback, so don’t hesitate to let us know what you’d like to see next!
